Low hanging rear derailleur

I'm looking for the lowest hanging rear derailleur possible. It will be fitted to a 60's Moulton so I don't want anything too modern looking. Anything pre-90's will do.

It only has to shift 2 gears with a friction lever.

Not quite sure what you mean by lowest hanging? Longest cage?

Sorry no.

I mean the one that is closest to the dropouts. The Moulton is being built with 17" rims so I want a mech that is as high as possible. Maybe I should of worded everything better...

The early slant pantograph Suntour with a short cage are pretty compact ?
