Maybe 'the best condition Lotus Sport 110 frame in the World' would possibly be a more accurate description.

It could be the 'best Lotus Sport 110 in the World' but with those wheels in, I doubt it.

For me it is the best Lotus Sport 110 i have ever seen. That´s my opinion.

Can't argue with your opinion. However that does not make it the best in the World. Just the best you have seen.
A Mavic disc and a 3G tri spoke would make it better. That's just my opinion

Lovely bike, that's for sure.

As a point of correction on the other one that sold on the auction site, checking the English version here http://www.dorotheum.com/en/auctions/au ... t-110.html it states

**Purchase price incl. all charges, commissions and taxes

So it sold for 13,750 rather than the 17,400 you suggest.

As an aside, the idea for these frames came from Mike Burrows' original monocoque design which led to Boardman's Olympic bike in '94. Lotus stitched Mike up completely and he never received a penny for any of the bikes. Worse than that, they sat on the patent and refused him permission to build any more of them. He's still rather bitter about it....
