Just a query to clear things up you say the fork is 1" but the headset states it is 'OVERSIZE' which is 1&1/8" so are you sure the forks are 1" :?:

Tioga Avenger 'oversize' is normally 1 1/8?

Just a query to clear things up you say the fork is 1" but the headset states it is 'OVERSIZE' which is 1&1/8" so are you sure the forks are 1" :?:

When I bought the frame the original Owner told me that it was 1" fork but from that time I never start the rebuild so I never exactly check 1" or 1.1/8"

For sure I will measure steerer tube diameter ( overall diam. and inner diam. ) to clear if 1" or 1.1/8"

Here below the steerer measures :
- outside diam : approx 28,4mm
- inner diam : approx 25,5mm

Then it's a 1.1/8" not 1" fork !!! :shock:
