I admit that did come across as rather petty, but at the time it sounded funny to me - tiredness can do that to a person... B*ll*cks!

Guess I just got bored with the verbal tennis that wasn't actually leading anywhere and just decended into a 'My Dad is bigger than your Dad' paddy!

I don't mind arguing the toss occasionally but any lively debate should be able to reach some form of intelligent compromise, which doesn't seem to be happening here. I can appreciate pete_mcc's viewpoint and don't disagree with him entirely, but it is obvious he is never going to see my point of view on anything.

I was perhaps just as guilty when I bullishly queried the attraction of an Overburys (and their ilk) in a previous thread. Now, having seen a particularly fine example in 'the metal' at Mayhem I do understand - though I still wouldn't want one myself.

Some threads have a natural lifespan and I guess this one is currently in ICU so I'll bow out gracefully before I unwittingly spoil it anymore...
