Andy Hampsten also used the same gear lever set up , when he won the Alpe D'Huez stage of the tour in '93 or '94 iirc

... during collecting components and parts (normaly a 1-2 years period) for re-building the ONCE bike, I looked for good optical red pedals and than I found these pedals, which are a Special Edition of Look PP296 ARC within www. from a German seller for an acceptable price.

... but it's funny then Lauren Jalabert never rodes These yellow ones he mostly rodes with a normal pair of red PP286 ARC
