Long drop calliper advice

If aesthetics matter and you’re after something with a cleaner profile than Tektro, Dia-Compe makes some classic long-reach callipers too, not as modern in feel but a good match if you’re leaning slightly retro with the build

Thanks, probably not too fussed about the retro aesthetic on this build, while it is by no means cutting edge, it's wearing Ksyrium wheels with fat bladed zicral spokes, a smattering of carbon and the rest is from the last few years.

Any thoughts on the linked brakes. Keen to get this built as I've too many part built projects and once this is done, I can let a couple go and create a bit of space.

I would recommend TRP RG 957s; https://www.condorcycles.com/products/trp-rg957-deep-drop-brakes

I've run them for 5 years on my Audax frame and find them excellent performers, with hardware and finish that has stood up to year round all weather riding. The Tektro hardware tends to be cheaper/rusts easier.

My other top choices would be Velo Orange Grand Cru; https://freshtripe.co.uk/velo-orange-grand-cru-long-reach-brakeset/

or the Shimano 451s.

If you can wait a little I would set up some searches on Ebay and wait it out, I managed to get a pair of lightly used TRPs for under £40 instead of £170!

Thanks for the responses. I have snagged a pair on eBay that seem to be half decent, though whether they have enough drop, I'll find out when they arrive.

I'm not actually sure what they are brand wise, hopefully decent enough for my needs if they fit. If not I'll be back.
