Not much point in these kits anymore imo, you will hear the pond life approaching from behind and prepare yourself for defence...
But then at least there's no cheap Lithium battery to spontaneously explode.

Had one of these kits on an Electra beach cruiser about 20 years ago. Was it worth it? Meh... was fun at the time. Before installation I highly recommend disassembly to clean up the internal casting. Then DIY/dremmel match port everything, clean it all out and re-torque. Also some of the kits come with a rubber o-ring inside the gas cap, some do not. Mine did not, so the first test ride splashed fuel all over myself and everything else... Lastly, on any kind of incline peddle assist the motor as it has basically zero torque.
