Litespeed Classic 2000 model

Devout Dirtbag
I took a chance on this last year during lockdown when it was for sale in the Cycling Weekly classifieds. I’ve never ridden a road bike that’s not been steel tubed and never even owned a bike with an aheadset but Litespeed bikes were always an unaffordable dream bike back in the day. Just needed new cables, chain, cassette, jockey wheels, stainless cage, tape and a reissue Flite saddle.
It’s over 20 years old but the build quality and the welds are superb and it rides like an absolute dream, only weighs about 18 pounds.
Best £400 I’ve ever spent! 7F91C0B7-82FE-4F44-BE8A-9F6050502AC6.jpeg

I too became the happy owner of a Litespeed last year (a '94 Catalyst frame). As you say, the build quality is superb and the ride fantastic; I've never enjoyed riding a bike so much before.
.... and £400 !?! Wow - an absolute bargain!
