That second pic where the bike is next to the tree the top tube looks bent upwards. Wierd!

Lovely bike and a bit different too.
 
Very nice, but not really retro, and probably not made before 1997?

Actually I made a mistake, since the frame of mine was originally a Litespeed Obed FS from 1996, so I should put the post in the Reader's Bikes ---> 1997 :-(

Wow, that's a cool build then. You made it yourself?
 
Yes, we have used old Litespeed full sussers from the mid 90's, those that used front Ti triangle with AMP aluminium rears. Those were quite weak and the shoks a little bit "old fashioned" for modern performance use. In my case, after repairing two times the rear due to some cracking, I decided to go for a more straightforward solution, Cndl scalpel implant...

Nuts, interesting idea.

Assume you had to weld some extra mountings onto the frame?
