Limited Edition GT

GT Zasker limited Edition, so I may be opening a can of worms, but tell me why is this worth so much.

To me it's just a alloy GT, so what if MBuk gave it away as a prize...will anyone really care?.

Limited edition, well not really, it's just the same frame re-run at a later date, with disc mounts

IIRC there was some stuff done to it, like the Reba's were painted to look like Judys and Hope made some purple components. I'm sure there was some other custom stuff to pick out retro styling cues kinda thing.

I see what you are saying about the "re-hash". . . . it is. . . . in a way. But. I would also agree with the comment of the customised components. The fact is you will not see many, if any, like them on the trails.

You cant argue that the bike in its form was "limited" to 500 pieces.

Personally I like to own things that no one (or few others) have! It's a form of individuality I guess.

There is one for sale in the classifieds I believe. I still prefer the silver Zaskar in the Botm this month although it is very nice.

What I dont get is that its 'number 3 of 500' but the frame had to be replaced due to a crack?
Surely then its now number 501 of 500??

this zaskar dont seem to have been a happy bike tho ,not really ridden,just sold on the highest bidder ,it's very nice and i'd give it shed space but at that price ....?

I'd like to buy it cheap and split it.
Then we can all have a Ltd edition bike.

Would be nice to see it ridden proerly though. I'd love the purple Hope bits, and yellow Reba's, especially if they were disc only.
