Like AMP forks but not - tell me about them...

Yes,I had a mate who had a pair on his GT and as he rode they would undo at the pivots. The only way he could stop them was locking them out by over tightening them.

Infact i think he still has them. You dont want to buy a pair do you?

Cheers,Al

like amp

An interesting observation about this fork and the AMP fork was made to me by Mert Lawwill a number of years ago, and that is that the pivots are at the crown end of the fork-thus when you get a small bit of play in the pivots at the top, the amount of play at the wheel axle is magnified by the length of the fork arm between them. This gives you an enormous amount of wiggle at the axle with only a little bit of wear at the top-mounted pivots, not an optimum design, and one that wears out quickly.

That sounds kinda scary! Well, how much would he want for them? I wouldn't mind a pair for collection sake
