We've had a few fun months at work...

There are a lot of us working very long hours to manage this, and FWIW, the professional consensus is that the UK is handling this as well as possible.


I've just got in from work, going to have a nap...

The point is not in the number of elderly people who are dying, many would have died from their already precarious state

Lungs collapse in healthy people who need to be intubated in order to breathe

Health workers work overtime and many are infected, it is a bad time to have a heart attack or stroke or car accident
Rescue times are very long

My partner is currently self isolating with a temperature of over 40 and aching, flu like symptoms. Shes asthmatic and had pneumonia previously. Though she is still 'young' in her late 40's its a bit worrying.
i find it odd that, while I understand its best to keep away from the Drs. and hospitals, there's no way of informing anyone that you are self isolating. we have no idea here in the UK how many people are potentially presently suffering with this.

Never a better time to go riding with the family and stay sane Getting a few other fams from the kids school to do the same with picnics in the country sunshine if it ever comes back. Got a feeling my kid and I will get a lot better at the piano and it could be a good time to take up the guitar too.
