Lightweight(ish) wheelset for V-brakes

Looking for a light-ish set of 26" wheels to use as a spare set with road tyres on to swap out quickly for my off-road wheels now and again. Modern or retro is ok (need a 9-speed freehub though), but I would like them to be ready to ride, i.e. true and smooth with hopefully braking surfaces that aren't right at the end of their life.

I'm not sure how much use they'll get so hoping not to have to spend really big money - ideally I guess I'd be looking at something like some of the older Crossrides, or good quality hubs on X517s. Silver ideally but looks aren't too important. Unless they're within range of Hampshire or the North East (where I'll be in a week or so) I'll need them posted.

I've got a pair of silver 517's on an 98 (i think, might be 99) XT rear hub and a Pace carbon suspension hub on the front, DT spokes. They're in lovely condition and have had very little use - I've had them from new.
I can get some pics for you soon if you were interested?
