Not stock spec (was LX) as I got it as frame only. Period XT and quasi-microdrive though, and Ultegra rear mech...

Used this as a bike messenger for a year and it's really been thrown around and abused. Using it frequently to go to work on when it's dark and the handling always puts a big smile on my face.

I think I'm lucky as I really dont lust after the mega expensive kit. It was so far out of my reach as a lad that it didn't enter my radar.
I just love good old simple steel frames with the original kit.
I have made a few changes to my Alpinestars, such as XT thumbies and DX levers, but these are my personal preferance.
As for working class, its even got a tesco water bottle :lol:
