Is there anybody heading to this from Pembrokeshire, I've been dropped in it as my lift has pulled out, I'm riding for the CTC and bit desperate, I can get 1 other person in gratis.. any help please??

Rode up there on the Friday – had a look round, back on the Sunday and did the 30 mile route on the Brian Rourke I'd got for the event – I can honestly say it's the best cycling weekend I can remember – such a great friendly atmosphere – and I even got to meet "Sig. Eroica" himself .

Very, very good event. Food , drink, camping, entertainment, thousands of old bike enthusiasts, welcoming locals, stunning scenery, brilliant route, did I mention the food and drink?

Now a few months have passed and with eagerness I wait for registration to open, I'll be heading up with a few bikes with a definite nod to British bikes. Notes for next year tubular tyres caused nightmares, pack more assorted spares to assist fellow riders with their roadside issues, my Carlton Corsair had the right touring gearing ( complete with frame mounted primus ) which IF I ride it next year will have it's full compliment of age perfect panniers but filled with bubblewrap !! fingers crossed I shall be appearing with a rather unusual CB that I've dug up

Can't wait for next year – though the Brian Rourke might have morphed into a Moulton next time.
