So, five years seem to have passed very quickly since I first registered here.

I was a relatively young fellow me lad quickly turning to middle age spread and the discovery that I wasnt the only one slightly disenchanted with new bike purchases lead me to this site. Just by chance, I was looking for details on my 'old' Zaskar. It was a bike I kept returning to time after time after the latest XYZ turned out to be a bit of a dog. I was not alone...!

This has lead to much better fitness, a far wider knowledge and understanding of the cycling world, thick-ish skin and a better outlook on life.

I have only this site, its members and a fairly understanding missus to thank.

I joined the same week as you, but being on the other side of the planet, have had much lesschance of actual involvment. Even so, I have enjoyed your contribution over the journey.
