That's the chap! Had a chat with my dad last night, the pivot was welded then bored out with a stainless sleeve fitted which he thought was a functional improvement. He seems quite proud of the bike and definitely doesn't want to sell...

...it would be interesting to know the sort of money, is it £200 - 300 or more? (Don't worry I am not going to sell his bike just interested)

Its quite sought after but if it has been welded that impacts on the value.

I have one of these Spectre's in white, original except the tyres replaced 2 yrs ago as the sidewalls failed.
