Late 60s/early 70s Carlton

Thanks again for the amazing help, though I’m still just as confused! Is the consensus on Criterium 5? Am I right in thinking it might be a Reynolds frame because of the shot in seat stays?

Looks like a Carlton Criterium from circa 1970, there should be a number on the left hand rear dropout which might help. The tubing is Tru-Wel and not 531. There might be the remnants of a yellow Tru Wel decal on the seat stay at the top

Just remembered a 1966 Super Coarse in Tru-Wel with shot in stays and plain painted head lugs, though it had a sloping fork crown and no chrome. I sold this in original paint to the current owner who has restored it as shown. The original paint was the same, a Champagne silver gold.
