I've split a pretty much complete bike down for the frame and a few other components I wanted, over this weekend between work and a family commitment I will clean things up and get some proper pics, then probably list it on the Facebook pages I frequent. In the meantime, this is what I have and what I want for it, can get pics for those interested with some patience, and nothing will be posted until next Tuesday now.
Postage is extra, either £3 for 2nd class parcel on most things, or about £8 for the forks via Interlink through one of my jobs, the chainring would only be a £1-ish. Payment with PayPal F&F please.
Rockshox Duke SL forks, hold air really well, move nicely, some cracks starting to appear in the seals but don't leak. Stantions fine, silver/grey colour. 198mm steerer. Disc or V brake, although one pin locator hole has broken up a bit but a pin stayed in there fine from a V brake. Or just use discs.....£30
Race Face Respond 165mm white cranks arms, SM-BB52, plus spare Race Face hollowtech type BB, and the crank bolt required. Cranks are in brilliant condition, hardly any marks or scuffs at all, threads look great, BB's bearing race things are smooth, one looks new.....£50
Some lock on grips (sold) a set of black Wellgo pedals (sold) and a Black Spire BB mounted chain guide thing, throw any of these in with something else for an extra £3 each.
A few other bits like some spare stems and straight bars etc to sort through, but these are pre '98 so will end up in that section's ads.
SOLD:
Set (F&R) of STX V brakes, with pretty good Clarke's pads, and Promax levers in nice nick.....£10
9 speed cassette, think it was a HG400, dinner plate size biggest cog of 36T! Almost new I would think....£6
Black Spire Snaggletooth 32T narrow/wide anodized purple chain ring, hardly used, lovely condition, only wear to anodizing is where the chain was over it (these are £34 new!).....£10
Deore 3 x 9 shifters, will clean them up and check they are definitely working through their 'clicks', look in pretty much spot on condition though cosmetically.....£10
Deore long cage 9 sp. rear mech, will throw in the front one too but need to check what size, think 31.8 top pull (actually it has a shim and pulls both ways
).....£10 for both
