Large Cannondale 2.8 With Issues!

I managed to find my boyhood dream frameset on ebay cheap last year but another Rourke has ment that this one has to go.

It needs refinishing, I was going to powdercoat it chrome with black forks like the picture below.

I had it stripped to check for cracks and get rid of the surface oxidation.

A couple of small, shallow dents were filled with a liquid metal filler called DevCon.

I got some new shifter bosses from a guy in Finland as the others were damaged.

It is a Project frame;

The NDS bb thread is hand tight up to about half way where it goes tight, I was going to get them chased but I simply don't have the time.
The drive side goes in by hand the whole way.

The top of the forks also has a crack, visible in the photo. I'm not sure how this will effect it but buyers beware.

It's a big frame, size 60 stamped on the BB. Measures 62ctt st and 57ctc TT.

I really love the look of this frame and it is staggeringly light, lighter than my 3000si with carbon forks.

It owes me about £50 which I'd like to get back.

Uk postage is included.

If you have any questions or offers please feel free to ask away.

looks interesting... what's the headtube length? And what's with the drive side rear dropout? Or is it missing a bolt on hanger in the pic?

The hanger isn't fitted in the picture but will be included.

I'll measure the headtube next time I'm in the garage.
