LOL! I made my own headset drift out of a piece of copper tube that I had left over from a plumbing job. It probably wouldn't survive daily use in a busy bike shop for very long, but it did the job for me.
The proper tool isn't exactly cheap, so I got the job done using stuff I already owned.
