Labeled Unwanted Gift (Modern Content)

Is this a 'ride to work' purchase ...not sure how it works but 'you' pay far less and pay monthly, and in this case...I'd rather have the cash than the bike ?

Ride to work deal...

Bit risky, as you have to get as close to the RRP as possible. Or you might as well just get a loan and pay the difference.

Or am I missing something?

If (and there is no proof of this) it is a C2W bike then he's selling stolen goods, as bikes bought on the C2W schemes are property of the employer until the final payment.

It could be an insurance replacement, a lot of insurers use Evans/HellFrauds etc & will send you a bike as close to the spec of the one stolen, maybe he didn't want the bike he was sent & wants the cash to get a different one.

In the shop I worked in we used bike boxes as trash boxes. One week bikes started to disappear, it turned out that the mechanic was filling bike boxes with trash but without removing the bike first. He would then throw the boxes in the skip behind the shop only to return later in the evening and remove the bikes unseen - Evil Genius!

Once an insurer pays you ,the bike belongs to them

Doubt its dodgy in any way :?
I wonder whos staying up really really late tonight
