Kuwahara Aries circa 1984 - anyone know the seatpost diameter?

Hey guys! I've just picked up a Kuwahara Aries, and I believe it's an '84 model or so. It's pretty clean and doesn't look like it's had a hard life. However the seatpost definitely has, and I can't see what size it is, and I can't get a decent measurement with the verniers. I'm looking for a longer post for it - I don't suppose anyone here knows the size? 26.5mm is what I'm thinking...

Could be 26.6 or 26.4, not sone odd numbers. They were built on Ishiwata around late eighties, here seems to be more or less conventional cromoly made, or you could try to find suntour groupset specs to that date, maybe it's a kit seatpost.

Thanks for the info Huranura. Hmmm, in that case I'm thinking it's 26.4. I'm using an analogue dial vernier caliper mate. The post itself is fairly chunked up so I can't get an accurate read, and the ID of the tubing is kinda difficult also. I also have to look for another Suntour Alpine Gear rear mech and shifter as someone has replaced the original with crappy later Shimano SIS... Not sure how difficult that will be.
