Kryptonite K4 u-lock

I don't need the actual lock, just the frame mount, which looks like the attached pics. Will gladly pay more than what the bracket is actually worth, it's just to get my old u-lock back on my old bike (which hangs on a wall looking nice these days).

It has to be the K4 I think (early 1990s), the later models have a different design with a button to release. This one, the lock just stays in with friction.

Ah. Got me there. Guilty as charged m'lud.
Now I'm away with work and won't be able to get to the garage until Thursday earliest. Keep prodding, I will take a look and am reasonably confident there's one there. Somewhere.

Just bumping this back up, I'm still after one of these. I found what I think is the patent for this holder.

Well bumped. I did go to the garage and found 2 different types of U lock holder, neither of which are branded. If you send me an address by private message I'll put them in the post.

Success! I don't think it's exactly the same but it was a long time ago now and not a component I would have looked at all the time. Anyhow, it fits nicely and will be going on the bike. Now all I need is a Specialized Speedzone Team Wireless cycle computer in translucent red, but they're like hens' teeth!
