Kona Unit 2013 drop out with mech hanger....!?

Morning

I have a Kona unit 2013 which is a single speed bike and the dropouts are like this:

I am wanting to run 10 gears on the back as I am using the bike more for commuting and keep 'spinning out' when Im riding along the flat.... a few of the other 2013 kona bikes like the Honzo and Explosif have the same style rear end as mine but the drop out has a mech hanger wheres mine doesnt....

does anyone know where I can get one from? I have googled the hell out of it and not had much joy! :x

Probably the simplest way is one of those adaptors that fit in the dropouts for nasty cheap frames - typically they are a couple of pounds from your LBS.

A slightly nicer thing is this:

Alternatively, consider fitting an Alfine hub gear to the back?

cheers, I take it that just goes on with the QR then? would that not move around though?

It does go through the QR, and as that is usually done up very tight it stays put just fine.
If it's tight enough to stop the wheel moving under pedalling, the mech won't move. I use a similar arrangement for a tensioner, it's impossible to budge with the QR tight.

The dropouts are identical to the ones used on my Pipedream a Skookum.

If you get really stuck Stuart at Pipedream will sell you a pair for £25
