Kona paint

Good afternoon all,

I have a 1993 Kona (the twin coloured models) and I need to touch up the silver section at the front, has anybody got any pointers on the correct colour silver or had any success with this? If not then I guess it's a trip to Halfords to try and guess or maybe they have colour charts.

Hi there

Unless someone on here comes up and has one the same model and has touched theres up the next option is to go to a local car paint supplier and get them to match it for you and mix you up a pot. kona didnt do paint codes in those days sadly.

i picked this up for my two tone, blue/silver lava dome. its not a perfect match but the closest i could find from the 20 or so silvers at my local autostore ...

Getting a paint code for the original color doesn't always work due to the paint fading over time. Either get a painter to mix based on the color on the bike or get a few different silvers and mix and test yourself until you get joy.
