here is a piccie of the paint job- pretty rough in parts and much busier than the kona's but I think I like it :? - done now so will see if it is a grower, might look more attractive when the bike is complete.

I used Humbrol enamel paints and the end of a paintbrush to flick the frame when i did my MF Courier in 1988.

WOrked ell and the paint stayed on for years.

I need to layer on a few coats of laquer, I hope to have it up and running by end of week (first ride Sunday) so will post some complete pictures then- kind of jackson pollock meets csi murder vibe

Nice bike BTW, part of the appeal of the kona splatter paint jobs is the decals and frame, I realised that I could not replicate that on the on-one so went for a more mentalist look :twisted: more in keeping with the inbred ethos.

yeah I used plasticoat enamel paint too paint brush flicking and tickling if you know what I mean- don't tell the wife cause the garage is a bloody mess :roll:

It does have a crime scene kind of feel, all together more sinister than the kona's- I'm starting to really like it now I've seen it with wheels on.

Got the laquer on last night so just waiting on my tugg nut (fnarr fnarr) and good to go for drum.
