Kona P2 colour.

I finally have some Triple butted P2's for my 97 Explosif. Unfortunately they are black. Argos Cycles will respray them for £45 but the closest colour match they have is number 19 on their colour chart (link below then click on colour chart). What is the general opinion, is it a good match?

Secondly they only have one decal left so does anyone know where I can get hold of some authentic decals for the fork blades?

I think its pretty reasonable...
It depends though are you running the velocity stem? as they were the same colour... Might make sense to get that coated aswell?

No, no velocity stem. Syncros in either black or polished. Not decided yet!

Have it all in black with forks, stem and handlebars, will never get dated.

Well, I have decided! The black P2's are staying black for now. I have just cobbled together the frame, forks, stem(black syncros) and seatpost(black syncros) and the black looks well sexy with the gold coloured frame. I have stuck with a silver headset but with black spacers to match the fork and stem, all topped with a silver syncros stem cap. The bar is a silver syncros pro series. The black compliments the gold as does the silver headset and bar. I have tried it with silver seatpost, stem and spacers and in my opinion it looked brash and cheap (sorry Anthony), far too much silver. I am just off to the lbs to get said headset and forks fitted. I will obviously get some pictures up when it is completed. Trevor.
