Joking aside, it's an AA which don't come along too often.

On the top tube it says AA and it also says Mountain Shock. In my experience, lots of people don't cotton on to AA possibly being the name of the bike. So if anything, Mountain Shock perhaps seems the more likely to be the name, of the two possibilities.

I feel bad for mocking now.

Once my best ebay steals (steels?) was a Crud-Catcher. That had 24 gears too if I remember rightly.
