kona lavadome project -- now finished

Hi guys i havent posted up on here for a long time
last week i bought a kona lavadome frame as my old bike was stolen so i have decided to do some restoration work and thought i would look on here for some insperation,

any ideas on the age??

any ideas or suggestions on specs etc appriciated

yeah i love it, its radiant red with a blue flip pearl top coat and its come out pink / purple with a blue flip the pics dont do it justice.
i need some choice parts for it, looking for a 7 speed xt rear mech if anyone can help.

Am I being thick? (NO jokes please). Is it the same bike? The top one is 1997 isnt it?

Either way both look good. Not sure I've seen the purple before but that looks really good.

its the same bike, i remeber the pain of rubbing it down in sub zero conditions on saturday morning!! :shock:

Love the colour of the frame & the anno parts you've got on as they go together so well You have now made my mind up that when my 91 cinder gold Kona CC needs repainting it's got to go purple
