p2 forks- always a winner

I would ride it for a while and see what you feel needs upgrading

but as kirby said ...p2 forks are the way to go with the kona's

cheap road/town tyres and with some puncture protection best ones for me have been schwalbe city jet tyres normally around 20-25 a pair

just an example but shop around

just choose the 1.5 x 26 (to thin for me) or the 26 x 1.95

from time to time they do amberwall city jets to maintain the retro look

thanks for the reply s and advice guys will have a look at the parts you recommended great forum btw

It's a 1997 Lava Dome, actually size 16 not 17 as stated in the listing, and seems quite a bargain really.

I would think you need to wait and see what you've got, and what state the parts are in, before deciding on upgrade priorities

hi thanks for reply how you know that just by looking btw. 16" would be fine anyway as am not that tall anyhow lol
