That was a good buy :)

You don't want to know what bid i actually placed!

Of course we do.

You must want that Kona badly!, I placed a £55.55 bid for it but somebody want it more than I do lol

Tallpaul, what is your plan doing that Kona? are you rebuilding it up, hope to see some pics on here one day.

Yeah, i saw your name before i'd bid.

I wasn't that fussed about it until somebody posted an exact same one in the Readers Bikes section and i realised how nice the green actually was.

(Although in the cold light of day, the eBay one may be a bit later than a '94. May be '95 or '96?)

£92 is a little steep, but i'm hoping she's in as nice condition as the seller claims.

looks like 1996. that makes it the alternate colourway to my orange one (green was the secondary choice). good frames - from kona's period of over-framing, and slightly under-speccing their bikes. mine's (18 inch) built up to 24lb rigid, with steel beaded tyres and an LX BB (it's amazing the difference between an LX and XT BB). it also has "built for strength" wheels with F519 rims.

I wondered if the Lava Dome decal was in the '97 style making it one of the funny cross-over decal '96 models...

Is your '96 Tange tubing? In '97 they went more generic on the tubes i think :?
