Welcome Thakrmnice to see such a large no. of Ku's here in the forum which are situated in Austria. As said originally we had 4 of them - one was sold to a fellow RB member to the UK meanwhile. Must be that mountainbiker had a soft spot for Konas and especially the KU's
(also cause he was Kona main distributer for Austria that years). I guess you specified what parts you wanted to have with the frame and they fitted the parts to the frame. Seemed that your choice of parts doin the trick, as after all the years everything is still working well

Sooooo, with the help of a couple of awesome fellow Retro Bikers on here (I won’t name them as I don’t want them to be bombarded with similar requests, but if they want to make them selves known that’s up to them), I managed to grab this ‘little beauty’ and ship her from Canada to West Sussex, England.
She’s not been very well looked after and I knew she was going to need a respray (but beggars can’t be choosers when it comes to a Ku - especially a 98 one).
I’ve been changing my mind daily about what colour to paint her but now I’ve received her I’m definitely going to get the original colour matched and restore her to her original glory.
Pic of the serial number which I think is: H9A00480
Will start a build thread and update as I go
