Kona Hahanna1992? seatpost diameter query.

I picked this up the other day from my LBS and think it is a 1992 frame.

Trying to find out the seatpost diameter is proving difficult. Without having anything too accurate to measure I would of said it was 27mm but other sites are saying similar age of bikes may be 26.8 or there about. Can anyone shed some light?

It's a 94, as I just rebuilt one for my daughter. I'm also pretty sure the seatpost is 26.4mm. I didn't need to replace the one on my rebuild, but I measured it JIC and remember it being a slightly 'different' size.

have an unexpected after noon off so I am off up to my local bike workshop later so will find out for sure the seatpost diameter and the headset size. I think it might be 1 1/8 threaded which I did not even know existed until yesterday.

My mistake, I think you're probably right.

Not sure about the headset, the one on my daughters bike (18" frame) was an inch.

Should build up into a nice bike.

headset is indeed 1 1/8 threaded. managed to get one for a few quid second hand. still not sorted out an answer for the seatpost query tho. will get it soon enough. Going to build it into a polo bike in the short term and maybe respray it further down the line.

correct about the seatpost size. got it measured today.
