Kona FireMountain, 1995. Lockdown rebuild....

So, the bike was purchased by me in 1995 with Saturday job money. Bought at Bike Scene in Guisborough, chucked around the woods a bit, enjoyed a loan spell in Loughborough before ending up in a loft in London.

Sent off for a respray 2 months back, new bits bought since....

Slightly more green coming through than original which makes it looks better, I think... Official colour if anyone's interested is 'Rover Green with some black in it'.

You may be disappointed with my new set - I am a little! Will find a proper set for when I venture from the tarmac of London.....

Slicks make sense if that's your riding, just prefer the off road stuff and think it looks better too

thats really a nice paint job and this time I fully agree with a respray. Normally I'm defending original paintwork, but here chapeau.
