Kona Fire Mountain Shock...recent rebuild and paint!

blimey, a year later and i dont think i've ridden this more than 3 times since!

i have, however decided that at 6'4" this Kona is just too small, so have agreed a purchase on a 20" Merlin alu frame coming in at 2kg. it's probably just as heavy as the kons, if not more, but will be saving my back no end of trouble! most likely going to need another b/b and forks and headset now though!

Re:

I'm reopening this thread after 2 years!

On One forks and Kona frame up for sale if anyone reading is interested. Finally, after all this time I'm starting the Merlin build!

Looking for £90 posted for forks, £50 posted for the frame. Will do adverts once they're off!

Tear down has begun! It's been 2 years since I touched this other than the odd ride, took 20 minutes to get cranks, bb, pedals, vees, grips, levers, cables, bar, saddle and post off. I'm pretty pleased with that!
