Well done Grover, you made a modest profit on one item but in the process alienated yourself from the largest market for any similar future deals, great job, and good luck in your application for 'the apprentice'.

Hey nice work Grover...
Neat profit.

(note to self:- these RB guys are real suckers, they haven't a clue how to make money and clearly spend all their time helping each other out. Jeezus...easy pickings.... LOL)

Here ya go, grover. The original (sans seat+grips) 89 Fire Mountain I picked up on Kijiji (our version of Gumtree) for $100 (aprox. 65 pounds). Fair, maybe a bit low considering it's condition. Fire Mountains were the lower end of Kona's "real" mountain bikes, and as you can see, the curved Project Two forks are not what you would call rare. Now, if I were to decide I needed to clear some space and move it, I would first ask if anyone here was interested, then barring that, put it on kijiji. The asking price on kijiji would probably be a bit more that I paid, but the price here would be my cost plus postage. If you don't grasp that concept, well.........Let's call a spade a spade. You made a post in general (since removed) asking it's market worth (which you knew, as you just won it on ebay) then offered it for double+ that in the For Sale section. You can't blame the members for calling shenanigans on you.
