I didn't realise that it was our old friend Granniegear. Weird that some people must actually buy from him. I usually click on 'Back' when I see his name on anything hehe.

He must sell some stuff, despite being famous for silly money prices for at least 25 years. He originally traded in old "racing bikes/parts".

If you have a quick look at his "ebay sold history" thru feedback it seems he mostly sells new tyres!

Pre-ebay days I think I recall him being pointed out to me at old skool cycle jumble.

But they bring in trusted specialists to verify the authenticity of my 30y old used pair of Adidas ZX700's.

Funny you should say this, I've about 5 pairs of my trainers I don't wear on ebay and no authentication on them.

I've just gone to list another pair this lunchtime and it had the authentication tag on. These last pair are cheaper then some of my others as well.
