Must be, there are no stickers on the seat tube. I'd like to see some before pics as it could be a different frame with the same dropouts.

Don't read to much into the missing Reynolds sticker, they are often missing (not lacquered over)

Looks like a much older fork though. By the looks of the dropouts well before ahead systems so don't know whats going on there :?

A bit of a Curate's egg this one.


Colour scheme is the US colours. Rear dropout looks to have 'stress marks' - strange spidering in the paint - and it may be the photo but the mech hanger threads look a bit mashed.

The seller does say the fork is threaded - he has clamped the threaded section with the ahead stem - Unsure as to whether he actually rode it like that :shock:

It's a respray or had some respraying:

I imported the frame from San Diego second hand with some re-spraying having been done;it is very much not showroom condition.
Frame numbers are vague but look something likeH311 orH811 on one side and 0661 on the other.A very similar numbering system to my other Explosif.Hope this helps
