Rims seem to be Vuelta Airline 1 - cheap and heavy, especially going by the nutted axles. Plastic pedals too...

Possibly interested as well but if BikerB is going for it I'll hold off.

Looks like a nice bike, and could be a decent deal for someone local. I reckon it will probably go for about £200 which I reckon is right bearing in mind it might need a bit of work.

Correct me if I'm wrong, this was 853 Reynolds tubing and the last Explosif before the shift to normal double butted steel / aluminium. When scrubbed up it should go like stink. With the market as it is today, £200 is probably pushing it.

Looks like I was spot on with the price! Personally I don't think it went for big money, especially as the frame would make £120+ on Ebay (or probably here) every day of the week. I think it being collection only hurt it to the tune of about £50. I'd probably have paid about £250 if they could have delivered.
