Kona Cindercone year help please?

Hi all

Haven't been on here for a while but could do with a little assistance please!

I just picked up an almost mint 16" Condercone frame in metallic dark grey - I can't find it in any catalogues but from the decals, especially the "race light" one I think it might be 1996? Any help please?? I will post a pic when I get a chance...

Thinking about a bit of a period build with a few slightly newer bits...

I have a hope headset, hope ti front (silver) - unfortunately the rear one is a SS one. SID race forks, XTR V's with SRAM 9.0sl levers.

Mostly silver build I think to contrast with the frame, so a silver Thomson stem might be on the cards and some Turbines - I can see this getting expensive! :shock:

1997 or later actually, but there is an 'if' in your sentence. I think he is saying those are the parts he has available for it. If it has had XTR Vs since day one, it isn't a Cinder Cone, of any year.
