There's been several for sale recently and they fetch surprisingly low prices, I don't know why as lots of people like white Konas (albeit many don't like spatter).

The bike you pictured came out in 1989, was sold during 89 and 90, and is generally known as a 1990.

The similar-looking bike that came out in 1988, and was sold during 88 and 89, is generally known as a 1988. Just one of those things.

The most obvious difference between the two is that the '88', like all '88' Konas, had a rear U-brake, so you can't fit a canti to it.

Thats the one then - my one had canti's.

I used to keep the bike in my lounge, and clean it up after every race / thrash
