1992 Kona Lava Dome

Resprayed frame and triple butted P2 forks. Painted by Argos Cycles in 2007 and fitted with replica decals. The frame comes with the rear canti-guide, BB cable guide, seat-post clamp & XT Shark-Fin.

There are some chips and scuffs which I have tried to highlight in the pictures. Overall still in VGC.

Price: £75 + Postage

1993 Kona Explosif

Frame and triple butted forks still feature their original paint. Fitted with Kona headset, rear canti-guide, BB cable guide and seat-post clamp.

I removed the original decals and cleaned the paint. There are still many chips and scratches, some through to the metal. In places these chips have allowed rust to form - this rust is only on the surface and does not affect the structure of the frame. The drive-side chain-stay is missing most, I planned to touch this in and cover it with a stay-protector.

I have fitted replacement decals, please note that part of the decal from the N and A are missing from the LH down-tube decal.

Price: £100 + postage

Hi

Would potentially be intrested in either frame.

Doing up a 93 Lava Dome with retro upgrades but want another steel Kona frame to do a modern more usable twist on a retro frame.

Probably the Explosif interests me more than the Lava Dome. Can you PM me your phone number to discuss please? I am not sure of the difference in spec of the frames.

Thanks

Dave
