Knitting Needles

Down the charity shop, about 10p a pair, (no one knits anymore), a fantastic aluminium for all those little jobs requiring a light but tough metal wire.

I been using Knitting needles to make supports for my old Crud Guard and safety hooks to catch my canti straddle should it ever be needed.

The alloy that these things are made from I don't know what it is, but even the thin stuff needs annealing before any useful bending can be had out of it.

Yep - knitting is supposed to be quite trendy - can understand it myself - don't all girls build bikes?
