who makes the best gear??

Need to protect left elbow as much as poss in the event of an 'off'...

661 and dainese would be names to follow but that said they all have to live up to a set standard, after that its going to be reading reviews type thing, personal opinions, word of mouth and price

From what I have read on the internerd,

POC are making some nice and stylish gear , they come from a skiing background, but I would also look at Dainese , fundamentally motorcycling gear, top quality stuff, I used their back protector , jackets & gloves for years

Was an Alpinestars fan on the motorbikes. . really wish the paramedics hadn't sliced my jacket into pieces...

Will check out dainese.. needs to be rigid too..

I tried to sell my Dainese back protector on here ,

Ended up on e-bay, I would rather have given it away here, ebay annoys the life outta me!

it was rigid, i think my photos are still up on the advert mate, they are nice 8)

My friends use POC - and it seems like good kit to me, although they do say it is quite a tight fit. I found them a bit restrictive, but I don't know what size ranges they do

I'm still using my oldskool Hard Nox shin/knees that I was using years ago. One day I'll replace them, but they have become like a faithful friend...

661 fer me............ye may want to look at their Veggie wraps, flexible layered neoprene as opposed to plastic armour- probably a bit more comfortable.
