Okay here it is…..

If I was looking into buying a pre Trek Klein what are the pitfalls (if any) of buying such a bike? :?

Also at 6’2’’ I normally ride a 18’’-19’’ bike – don’t Klein’s of these ages have strange frame measurements? :?

Just after some info really.

Cheers

You would need a M = 20" frame.

If you know someone or some LBS who has the Klein tools, then these are not that bad problems but if not, then might be considerable...

Potential risky things are

1) BB
- bearings shot or loose
- wrong spindle length (limits crank choice)

2) MC1 / MC2 stem/h-bar combo
- wrong length / angle
- bent bars

3) oversize fork steerer
- bearings shot or loose
- faulty suspension fork (luckily most of them come with bolt-on crown)
- fork choice is limited
