Hmm yes

A case of buyers remorse i think - he paid too much and was expecting new

his "complaint" being dragged o here after being compensated (or blackmailed..) was a bit childish. let alone re listing it, coping the pictures and wording verbatim and not mentioning "issues" is a bit pants TBH.

I'm not surprised. Excellent pictures & description. And he is a w@nker of the first order.

Shame can't see what the new owner will think of the frame when they get it.

I bet he will be happy with it?

Really...name calling?

Yep

My opinion of you jon as a person continues to be reinforced

You dont know me as 'a person' just my outlandish comments on this forum....

J

I'm having one last input on this frame then I'm leaving it well alone as clearly the mentality of one person now using name calling shows the level they are mentally comfortable at

Jon, the frame was flawed, although you dispute the level of damage to the frame you did own up to multiple runs in the paint being no one else's fault other than your own

Personally wether the buyer was an ass wasn't the issue

When you get a reputation for good work your prices go up so when people seek a well known person for a job they are prepared to pay the higher money for that job on the understanding what they will get will be perfect

you admitted it was not perfect and gave a partial refund which you seemed to think was okay

that missed the issue..you don't pay top painter money then expect to be happy with a less than top effort paint job..no matter what the partial refund is..a cheaper less than perfect klein paint job is still a less than perfect paint job

We all make mistakes but when your living depends on it as is your case jon then customer care when something goes wrong can be as important as the paint job it'self

Behaving like a teenager who has been caught out doing something wrong jon was not your finest hour when a customer complained and was unlikely to improve your business image

If the paint defects on that frame have not been corrected then it is a poor show by the seller

you claim it hadn't been rectified..I admire your phsycic ability..what I hope as I did in the previous thread is that you were able to learn that klein painting is a limited market and word travels fast so given your customer care was less than professional when you sent out an imperfect frame and your attitude afterwards..that it was a learning point for you and improve your business

I see as you have reverted back to childish name calling when a customer or anyone points out a defect on a exspensive paint job of yours that much has not been learnt

Do I know you? no ....would I spend money with you based on your outlandish comments and reaction to customer complaints..again no

I wish you well Jon and attack me if you wish but future customers seeing how you rectify issues with faulty paint jobs may just be watching and you have to ask...will your way of resolving issues make them want to spend money with you?

A problem of the Internet is a company can have 1000 happy customers who don't say a thing online because they got what they expected, and one unhappy customer who gets the attention and if not handled well will cost the company new business.

Jon, I have seen lots of examples of your work an have been impressed, but this hasn't been your finest hour of PR.

Having dealt with Jack71 would also be interested to know if the frame had the 'issues' rectified. If not and he has sold as is with that description that does put some of his earlier posts into some sort of context.

This shows johns innocence to the whole matter, the seller is a dick.

I'd be sueing over the use off pictures as Jon had these taken buy a professional photographer who owns those pictures! I'd not let go.

The paint was not refinished or repaired. If it was why use someone's else's pictures.

It's pretty obviuos Jon has the support not the seller.

There were some issues granted some of which I'd missed but also pictures of damage that was NOT there when I sent it

jon whilst being a member of this forum you also benefit from it in the same way say argos, bob jackson etc in that you provide a business service and similar to those companies who benefit from members cash when mistakes are made we normally share info to make others aware..of interest also and more importantly is how any company acts when repairs/faults occur

John..I agree if Jack has sold this on with the defects then it is a poor show but ..that would have to acknowledge that jacks complaint was genuine in that Jons paint job was with many faults.

Most of the time when a commercial provider lets members down we seem to be very open about passing on opinions and observations for discussion..I would hope we never get into a situation that some suppliers have cosied up to the point where we are not allowed to discuss these exspensive errors when they happen

As i said Jon..your pr on this matter did you no favours and I hope you can take something positive from it

This is jacks own words from his thread

What will happen next, I still don't know, selling the bike is no option, as I don't want pass the problems on to a third party. Today I had call from my local painter and he isn't able to create the "orange / pink" colors.

So the frame has been sold without repair ? Which means he has sold a frame which he has said is flawed in his option but forgot to mention it.
