To me, seems a ridiculous price for that bike (no paint, mismatched wheels, etc.). :shock: There's a Rascal w/ appropriate Mag shock (vs. Judy) in "garage queen" condition that was listed for $825 w/ XT components, matching wheels, etc. and puts that bike's price into perspective when something like this comes along.

It is pretty overpriced. A bit more perspective: few months back I picked up a similar Rascal that was in near perfect shape and had an awesome build with lots of neat/rare parts......for $350. THAT bike would have been a good buy even at $600. This one, not so much.

Maybe he's putting a lot of value on the Cook Bros cranks or thinks the buyer will simply break it down and part it out.
