dating back to 1988, the Rascal frame is not designed for a suspension fork. the RS Mag and Quadras have a maximum of 60mm (i think) and more likely 45mm travel that's why they don't mess up the geometry too much. 80mm or even more is too much. you could still ride it but you won't experience the ride these bikes are famed for.

Can I say I picked up a rascal recently and I love it...it is the most fun bike to ride Ive ever had.
Its an XS or a S.
When Im on it I just cant resist doing wheelies and jumping off kerbs...I tell you that its is dam light too....its has Ti Rock Shox.
Bout 20lbs

BTW johan I have some nice 1" rock shox in white...?

hi, here is a link to pic of a Klein I owned briefly...(a brief but memorable fling) with modern 1" marzocchi bombers- these forks are still available new I think. Front end looks a bit high though I reckon- go rigid is my opinion!
