Klein Rascal Moonrise

Q: Is the paint original or has it been re-sprayed?

A: This is definately the original paint. The bike was purchased orignally at Denver Spoke Bicycles and it still had the old original bike shop decal on it until last week. I removed the decal because it was starting to peel away from the frame. Also, you should know that I purchased this bike from its original owner. She said that she bought this bike new to ride along with her boyfriend. Once that relationship ended so did her interest in mountain biking. This bike has been hanging in her garage untouched for more than 10 years until I purchased it from her. She even threw in her 1993 klein bicycling shorts (they looked new) and were straight out of the Klein 1993 catalog. She also gave me her matching helmet

Pfff this has really got me..?
Maybe it some prototype/early Moonrise but I cant believe they'd change the colours..I mean the true Klein Moonrise is much nicer AND its really neon!
Look at the sides of the rear dropouts the purple is real sloppy they'd been doing linear fades way before this...
